'Representation' in Open Democracy
Una advertencia en contra del relativismo en teoría política

The present paper discusses H. Landemore’s positivistic approach to political representation, which she takes to be, as Rehfeld would put it, a value-free concept. By taking sides with H. Pitkin’s standard account, here it will be argued that political theory has much to gain from adopting a normative and value-laden concept just right from the start, for it is the best way to acknowledge its practical implications.
