'Representación' en Open Democracy
Una advertencia en contra del relativismo en teoría política

El presente trabajo discute el enfoque positivista de H. Landemore en torno a la representación política, al que ella concibe, siguiendo a Rehfeld, como un concepto axiológicamente neutral. Tomando partido por el enfoque estándar de H. Pitkin, aquí se argumentará que la teoría política tiene mucho más para ganar si adopta un concepto que reconozca sus compromisos normativos y axiológicos ya desde un principio, pues ese sería el mejor camino para hacerse cargo de sus implicaciones prácticas.
