El surgimiento del “giro afectivo” y su impacto sobre la filosofía política

El giro afectivo ha irrumpido en los últimos años en la teoría de género hasta impregnar importantes debates de la filosofía política. Con claros antecedentes en desarrollos que se vienen desplegando desde la década del ’80, la propuesta se sostiene en la necesidad de argumentar una concepción de los afectos que haga a un lado una serie de dualismos: interior/exterior, público/privado, acción/pasión. El presente estudio crítico tiene como objetivo analizar el impacto de esta propuesta a partir de la publicación en castellano de El corazón de la nación de Lauren Berlant, un texto clave a la hora de evaluar tanto los alcances como los problemas de una perspectiva que obliga a revisar cuestiones tales como la agencia, la relación entre el presente y el pasado y la corporalidad.
